Fever, that is all that can describe it, steelhead fever!  I got it bad.  A consummate steelheader and guide on Northern California's and Southern Oregon's coastal rivers, the passion that I have is unparalleled.  My wife says I should have married a steelhead!  There is nothing better than hooking into a chrome bright steelie, hearing the sing of the reel, and watching the fish jump and run with reckless abandon.  The beauty of these rivers in fall and winter get my blood going, the trees are on fire in October and November, winter cold and snow, I love it all and look forward to it like nothing else.

From reading water, teaching rowing,teaching the intricacies of these fabled rivers, or just a relaxing day on the river telling stories, I want to share.  Steelhead fishing on a fly can be frustrating if you are going it alone, let me share with you years of experience and knowledge about these rivers.  My whole goal of guiding goes well beyond the fish, it is about sharing some of the most beautiful terrain, views and wildlife, with my clients.  It is about hot coffee and hot meals on the river, all with the same goal, a red hot, chrome bright steelhead!
